Vinifikation Carschluns, Altrömisch für «dem Schloss zugehörend», ist unsere Beste Reblage und liegt direkt hinter dem Schloss Salenegg. Vor Jahrzenten wurden dort die ersten Chardonnay Reben des Betriebes gepflanzt. Seitdem dürfen wir Jahr für Jahr hochreife, aromatische Chardonnay Trauben ernten. Im Jahr 2023 haben wir diese zum ersten Mal, separat vinifiziert. Eine grossartige Entscheidung! Die alkoholische Gärung findet in französischen Barriqes statt. Anschliessend reift der Wein auf seiner Vollhefe während weiteren 12 Monaten. Degustation Typus: der Mineralische Der Wein strotzt vor Mineralität, seine Eleganz sucht seines Gleichens. Passende Superlativen für diesen Wein, müssen erst noch erfunden werden. Jeder Schluck dieses Weines ist ein Erlebnis. Machen Sie sich selber ein Bild davon, Sie werden begeistert sein. Aber Achtung, mit nur ca. 550 abgefüllten Flaschen haben wir hier eine echte Rarität.

Subtle bouquet with notes of apple, pineapple, citrus fruit and a hint of honey. In addition, floral hints and nutty nuances. Balanced on the palate, beautiful acidity, creamy fruit, long finish with a smoky touch.
